Mary-Kate Wilson, MD

Dr. Mary-Kate Wilson is a board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced fellowship training in oculoplastic surgery. A proud University of Florida alumna, she was accepted into the highly selective accelerated 7-year B.S./M.D. Junior Honors Medical Program during her sophomore year. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological and Medical Sciences with honors and went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine from UF, where she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society, recognizing the top medical students in the nation.

Dr. Wilson completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Florida and went on to pursue a fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery, where she refined her expertise in upper & lower blepharoplasty, ptosis repair, brow lifts, lid lesions, eyelid or periocular skin cancer excisions, entropin & ectropin repair, as well as aesthetic and reconstructive procedures around the eyes.

She joined The Eye Associates, where she specializes in oculoplastic and cataract surgery, combining precision, artistry, and compassionate care to help patients look, feel, and see their best.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Wilson enjoys ballroom dancing, mountain biking, weightlifting, and hiking with her golden retriever..



Thara Abu-Mallouh, OD

Dr. Thara Abu-Mallouh grew up in Chicago, Illinois. She attended Lewis University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She went on to attend Midwestern University Chicago College of Optometry where she received her Doctorate of Optometry. Dr. Abu-Mallouh began her experience in Florida as a student doctor during her externship, where she worked closely with all the providers to gain experience in ocular disease and primary care. At her other externship locations, Dr. Abu-Mallouh also gained extensive training in vision therapy and contact lenses. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, being outdoors, and exploring Florida.







Zachary Boeskool, OD

Dr. Zachary Boeskool earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. He then went on to obtain his Doctor of Optometry from Michigan College in Big Rapids, Michigan.

He specializes in comprehensive eye care extending from routine care to treatment and management of ocular disease, as well as pre and post-surgical care.

Dr. Boeskool is married to his wife, Katie, who is also an Optometrist. Together, they have 3 children, and a house full of pets with 2 dogs, 5 chickens, 1 axolotl, and 1 bearded dragon. They enjoy traveling to warm tropical places, and spending time adventuring, hiking, fishing, swimming, & cheering on their Detroit, Michigan sports teams, specifically the Lions, Tigers, and Pistons! In his free time, Dr. Boeskool also enjoys growing his own banana plants and blueberries!
